What troubles did darwin face?
Sickness-
Although Charles Darwin was a magnificent man and had accomplished so much, he was a very sick man. He had a uncomfortable heart palpation, he told no one about this because he was worried it would affect his voyage. Every year he seemed to have a cycle were he would have chronic head aches, chest pain and intense stomach bugs. The doctors urged him to stop working but still proceeded to work. He also had phobias of social contact and gatherings known today as social phobia and agoraphobia. Charles Darwin's wife Emma were together since their childhood. He suffered from being nervous about being left alone but Emma was a supportive wife and encouraged his work and told him to have breaks when he was feeling sick, she nursed him till death.

Charles Darwin did not go without his critics, many people criticized Darwin due to there religion or beliefs and other critics were scientists. Scientists could not come to terms with the idea of natural selection and wrote letters and to criticize him on his work.
